Daylight Saving Time and
Timezone Reference Database Update |
If you are using a Java technology-based application, then its
knowledge of daylight saving time (DST) and timezones will be valid and current at the time
of implementation. If your country/location has more recently
changed when DST will applied, then your Java technology-based
application will not know about this recent change.
The Java
technology-based application needs to be updated with the latest DST
and timezone information contained in the Olson Timezone Database
using the TZupdater tool.
